Human Rights Education Hotspot

Partnership Building Activity “Human Rights Education Hotspot” took place in Timotesubani, Georgia, from the 29th of April to the 5th of May, 2022. Representatives of member organizations of HREYN came together for 5 days to strengthen the international partnership, revitalize existing project ideas and develop new project proposals on human rights education, ultimately in an effort to support the implementation of Strategic Plan 2019-2024.

HREH 2.0 was a follow-up to HREH 1.0 which took place in Brussels, Belgium. In the middle of nature in Timotesubani, PBA enabled networking and teambuilding between member organizations, which is essential for reinforcing the capacity of the network and supporting the culture of human rights education in Europe.

Participants had the opportunity to list and prioritize project ideas, share their inputs in project development and relevant grant opportunities, kick-start working teams on each project proposal, and transform generated ideas into actionable steps. The outcome of this fruitful week consists of nine pending projects in total, which will be further developed and advanced in the upcoming months.

This project was supported by BIJ - Belgian National Agency under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
